Field Coat is Ginew's take on the iconic M-51 jacket. This thing is built to last. Made in USA by the Native American run denim brand, this jacket will last a lifetime. Sturdy YKK zipper and sturdy fabric built to last. The liner vest unfortunately missing, otherwise perfect.
The M-51 style is perhaps most famously recognized from the 1976 film Taxi Driver, where Robert De Niro’s character wore it while navigating the streets of New York.

What is GINEW?
Ginew USA is a Native American–owned apparel brand rooted in heritage, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Founded by Dr. Amanda Bruegl (Oneida, Stockbridge-Munsee) and Dr. Erik Brodt (Ojibwe), Ginew blends traditional Indigenous motifs with rugged, workwear-inspired design.
Their collections — denim, outerwear, leather goods, and accessories — are made in the U.S. using durable, high-quality materials like raw selvedge denim, waxed canvas, and Pendleton-woven wool. Ginew's t-shirt has also famously been worn by the fictional character Hulk in the Marvel Universe, played by Mark Ruffalo.
Each piece is infused with symbolic meaning: designs feature family teachings and tribal iconography (like thunderbirds), reflecting their Ojibwe, Oneida, and Stockbridge-Munsee heritage.
Ginew’s ethos centers on “live well” (minobimaadiziiwin), creating heirloom-quality garments built to last — not just for this season, but for generations.
They also collaborate with other Indigenous artists for limited-edition collections.

SHIPPING
We dispatch orders on weekdays, Mon – Fri (excluding Bank Holidays). We try our best to ship your order within 24 hours or on the next working day. However, on some occasions, e.g. if there are a large amount of orders to process, shipping is made within 2-4 workdays. However, we strive to get your package out in 1-3 working days.
We mostly ship domestic orders using the Finnish Post Office, and its partners. International orders are shipped using the best method based on your location, mainly UPS. If you have custom enquiries about shipping, please contact us: shop@loftt.fi
The bank holidays are non-working days in Finland so please allow for some extra days for processing your order if you are placing your order then.
RETURN POLICY
By the Finnish law requirements, you have the right to return the product within 14 days when you’ve received your order, if you for any reason are dissatisfied or wish to file a complaint.
All returns must be made within 14 days after receiving the product.
You must contact the store before making a return and you are responsible for all the return costs.
Please note: Due to the secondhand and unique nature of some of our products, there might be signs of wear and other defects in the products. So please read the product descriptions carefully and look at all the photos, especially when ordering second hand / vintage products. If you are unsure about the condition, fit etc. please contact us for more info on the product you are interested in before ordering.
Custom orders / special orders can not be returned. The product must be unworn and price tags, stickers, original packaging etc, must also be returned, if the product contains them.
